Dianna has been practicing in Speech Language Pathology as well as training and learning about oromyofunctional disorders, fascia and the interconnectedness of the tongue to the rest of the body. Her interest in oromyofunctional disorder was kicked started by her own oromyofunctional problems. A tongue tie release and therapy for Dianna paved the way for this integrative practice.
She feels her clients with speech and/or oromyofunctional disorders demonstrate greatly improved articulation, breathing and overall quality of life when structural, fascia, tissue and musculature tensions are addressed on a wholistic level.
Dianna began Mountain Myofunctional and Speech Therapy, LLC. with the belief that speech-language treatment should not be viewed seperately from whole-body functioning, and that adjunct, gentle techniques can assists the body in healing.
